Realizing that the bond between the mason contractor and product suppliers is key to successful masonry construction projects, the Mid-Atlantic Masonry Association is comprised of all components of the industry working together for the benefit of owners, general contractors, designers, and others.
With this in mind, the Mid-Atlantic Masonry Association is working diligently to ensure that there are enough well trained masons to handle the volume of work generated. The Board of Directors recognizes the importance of training students who will become part of the masonry workforce and has created a Workforce Committee to facilitate mason training with a focus on secondary and post-secondary education. |

Masonry Instructors Association (MIA)
Organized as a committee of PCMA, the Masonry Instructors Association provides a forum for communication within the secondary and post secondary masonry instructors throughout the State of PA and the Mid-Atlantic region. Masonry Instructors Association members have a voice to advocate for masonry through the PA Department of Education and with the individual Career and Technical Centers statewide. The input of this group is important to the agenda for the Masonry Instructors Workshop and other initiatives related to Workforce Development efforts by PCMA.
